Abstract:
The scientific report in refrigerated surface transportation which includes refrigerated rail transportation and refrigerated road transportation.
This report discusses the history and technology of rail transportation, loading of goods, transportation temperatures of different goods, factors affecting on life of transit goods and methods of controlling transit environment.
Road and rail transport refrigeration equipment are required to operate reliably in much harsher environments than stationary refrigeration equipment. Due to the wide range of operating conditions and constraints imposed by available space and weight, transport refrigeration equipment have lower efficiencies than stationary systems.
