Title: Comparative Study of Natural Gas Liquefaction Systems
Author        : Walid Ramadan Ibrahim Moustafa Ashour
Collection   : M.Sc. Mechanics
Abstract:
.  Detailed study for Unit u- 101 Gas Plant at Ras Bakr area at Gulf of Suez which produces liquid butane and storing it in the spheres and directed the natural gas to the network. The study shows the steps of gas processing starting from the inlet receiving then compressed it to about 25 bar to enter the molecular sieve Dehydration package to remove the saturated water content down to 20 ppm water content and then cooled in the gas/gas heat exchangers and then the Cold gases is introduced to the De-Ethanizer Column where LPG components are recovered in the top section and the bottom liquid is fractionated in the De-Butanizer Column to produce LPG and condensate to be injected in :he produced Crude oil tanks. Gases from De-Ethanizer OVHD is compressed to produce a pipeline specifications sales gases in the gas compressors to 80 bar. The study including process simulation using Hysys.
